It seems as if the news for the newly remade/re-imaged/sequel/whatever Night of the Living Dead anime film is being constantly spewed out on a weekly basis. Dreadcentral.com scored a first look promotion image. It looks okay enough.

Here is some interesting casting bites also from Dreadcentral. Joe Pilato, the infamous Captain Rhodes from Day of the Dead, has signed aboard as the angry father Cooper. Furthermore, It seems that Ben might be going to music entertainer Mos Def. He has been sent the script and he had expressed interest. Pilato, and maybe Mos Def, would join Danielle Harris who plays as Barbara.

Night of the Living Dead: Origins is a 3D anime presentation of the classic George Romero 1968 film of nearly the same name. The promo image is after the jump.
