The rumor that UFC Champion Tim Sylvia is currently playing Jason in the Friday the 13th sequel is just that, a rumor! Platinum Dunes “producer” Brad Fuller took the time to remove his peen from Mr. Disgusting of Bloody-Disgusting’s ass, long enough to write, “Dont believe the rumor. We are NOT shooting F13 right now, and the only person I want to work with as JASON is Derek Mears.”

The story claiming Sylvia would be playing “Jason Voorhees in the yet-to-be-titled ‘Friday the 13th’ sequel,” originally appeared on Fighters.com on Sept 2nd, and quickly spread across the Interwebs. Super Journalist Brad Miska (Mr. D) dispelled the rumor on Sept 6th.
