Twentieth Century Fox has objected to Digital Sin/New Sensations’ plan to release a porn parody of the X-Files. They were probably worried that the skin flick version would be better than the two X-File movies they previously released.

In a letter sent to Digital Sin, a representative from Fox demanded that the adult film studio change the title of their film. Even though the company didn’t think the movie infringed on Fox’s rights, they still agreed to their request and switched The X-Files: A Dark XXX Parody to The Sex Files: A Dark XXX Parody.

The Sex Files promises to be the largest budget adult production to date, and was shot entirely on the Red One Digital Cinema Camera… Whatever the hell that is! It will be released sometime late September 2009.
