See how the wacky world of the Interwebs work. I was searching for ANY news on A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010), and during my travels I found a lot of porn, plus an article about some film titled, Hellphone.

Hellphone is an independent horror/comedy being shot by two filmmakers from Greensboro, North Carolina. The film follows a small southern town deputy sheriff, her EX and current boyfriend who must battle a vengeful spirit that has possessed a cell phone. Creators Jason Mare Pierce and Stephen van Vuuren hope to premiere the film at some local, state and national screenings before releasing it on DVD sometime in February 2010.
