District 9 definitely is better than the summer blockbusters that are just over rated. District 9 is enthralling, has great depth and yet it is exciting to watch as the story unfolds. For me I think it's like the mashup between Slumdog Millionaire, ID4 with Cloverfield style shooting. All in all, it sure excites me as it gives the movie industry a whole new perspective with its originality. I couldn’t agree more with you.
