Move over Uwe Boll, Brad Fuller may be taking your place as the biggest joke in the horror genre. Platinum Dunes’ remake of Friday the 13th joined the ranks of Miley Cyrus and Twilight by winning “Choice Movie: Horror/Thriller” at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards.

Millions of Jonas Brother fans chose the slasher flick over Drag Me to Hell, The Haunting of Molly Hartley, Quarantine, and The Uninvited as their favorite horror film of 2009. I’m sure that Jason Voorhees is thankful to Fuller and Dunes, for making him popular with the crowd who considers Robert Pattinson, to be the best vampire to ever appear on movie screens. What an achievement!

Twilight won 11 of the 12 surfboards they were nominated for including “Choice Movie Actor Drama,” “Choice Male Hottie,” “Choice Movie Liplock,” “Choice Movie Rumble,” “Choice Movie Actress Drama,” and “Choice Movie Fresh Face Male.”

Hopefully Dunes’ A Nightmare on Elm Street remake will be able to compete with New Moon at the 12th Annual Awards show in 2010.
