Universal Pictures has moved the release date of Joe Johnston’s THE WOLFMAN to February 12, 2010. This is the latest in a string of delays that have cursed this picture. THE WOLFMAN was originally scheduled for release on February 13, 2009 and was then moved to April 3, 2009. The powers that be at Universal then moved the release all the way to November 6, 2009.
This third delay pushes the much anticipated remake of the 1941 horror classic of the same name into a 2010 release. The cast and crew have been keeping busy with reshoots that reportedly change the werewolf from standing on two legs to hunching down on all fours.
The official synopsis states: Lawrence Talbot (Benico Del Toro) was traumatized by his mother’s death as a child. Following his brother’s disappearance, Talbot hunts a murderer, which turns out to be a werewolf, and the curse is passed on. Anthony Hopkins (Silence Of The Lambs) co-stars as Sir John Talbot.
Hooray for starting the new year with more remakes!

Sounds like they are going to F! up this remake like all other remakes. I am mainly anti- remakes, but I was actually looking forward to this one. I was disappointed to hear the date moved again, and now we are hearing that he’s going to walk on all fours! That sucks. This idea will fail massively with the way the make-up looks. He’s not a dog. Let the sucking begin!
