Shock Till You Drop got a tip from a source at 20th Century FOX that the company is prepping a direct-to-DVD sequel to last year’s MIRRORS, the cleverly titled MIRRORS 2. No details have surfaced other then that director Alex Aja and star Kiefer Sutherland will NOT be returning and that FOX is aiming at a 2010 dvd release. MIRRORS was massively hyped last August but only managed to carve up $30 million at the box office – a disapointment considering the $35 million budget. A direct to video sequel with a significantly lower budget should manage to turn a profit.
