In the 90’s Hardware was one of those movies that I read about in the pages of Fangoria and couldn’t wait to see. I didn’t have to sit through months of EXCLUSIVE! pictures on Bloody-Disgusting, teaser trailers, trailers, red band trailers, TV spots, blah, blah, blah… I just rented it, watched it, liked i, and didn’t ever have to explain myself to some idiot on a message board. Ahhh the good’ol days before the internet ruined horror/sci-fi films.

Anywhoo…

The good news is it is finally getting an uncut DVD release in America.

Early Super 8 Version of Hardware

Also the first 10,000 copies will be in a limited release tin, so I would be careful about pre-ordering online. Hardware will be available on DVD and Blu-ray Sept 29, 2009.
