Recently New Moon star, Michael Welch, assured Twilight fans that the novel’s “comic relief” scene, where Bella attempts to get over her Edward heartbreak, by going on a date with Jacob Black and Mike Newton, will indeed be in director Chris Weitz’s version. And today he told MTV.com what fictional movie the three teens go to see in the film.

The film is called ‘Face Punch. It’s an action film. We started out with a few other comical names, but it turned out those were actual films so we couldn’t use those titles. I forget the first few titles, but it was like ‘Crazy Explosion’ — and it turns out, there actually was a ‘Crazy Explosion.’ Chris came up with the title. And apparently there is no ‘Face Punch’ that we know of.

Unfortunately there is no footage of Weitz’s action film, but Welch says he hopes that maybe a trailer for it will show up on the DVD.

“That’d be interesting — maybe for the DVD, if there’s a ‘Face Punch’ trailer,” he grinned. “That’s actually not a bad idea.”
