San Francisco’s horror/sci-fi/fantasy film festival, Another Hole in the Head, has begun, and tonight (Saturday, 6-13-09) you can meet the directors of Black Devil Doll, Pig Hunt, and Run! Bitch Run!.

5:00 PM Black Devil Doll shown w/ The Pickup — Appearance by director Jonathan Lewis.

This just raised the bar in disgusting and insane film. The madness begins with Heather, our sultry protagonist, playing with a Ouija board. Meanwhile, at the stroke of midnight, a black radical is electrocuted for rape, murder and mayhem. Channels get crossed, and we now have our somewhat shocked temptress sharing “quality time” with a black radical puppet that craves white women, raunchy sex, fried chicken, murder and destruction. And then she invites her Hustler Honey girlfriends over to “party.” You need to have an appetite for the absurd, the disgusting, and the deranged for this one. You will laugh until you wet yourself. I am not kidding. BLACK DEVIL DOLL goes where no puppet has gone, with gutter humor, exploding bodily fluids, and one of the most erotic car wash scenes you’ll ever see. There’s no escape from the film’s massive breasts…or the murderous intent of a cliché-wrangling black radical puppet.

7:15 PM Pig Hunt shown w/ The Vagina Song –Appearance by James Issac

The hunt begins in San Francisco, where John is about to take his group of weekend warriors on a male bonding excursion into the outback of the Californian hills to bag wild boar. As we are ushered away from the land of pretty views, Victorian houses and perfectly formed cappuccino foam, we are quickly introduced to tattooed war vets and crazed inbred hillbillies high on biker crank, gunpowder, and gasoline. This is also a world inhabited by sexy commune girls who grow pot, raise emus and worship pleasure, pigs and mud baths. And that’s before they cross paths with the legendary “Ripper,” a three thousand pound wild hog. PIG HUNT is unquestionably the best of its breed, with sudden impact, steaming guts, and heart-pounding chase scenes. A shot of pure adrenaline with a chaser of dark, dark humor. 9:30 PM Run! Bitch Run! shown w/ X-Mess Detritus

RUN! BITCH RUN! is a brutally dark comic tale of two Catholic schoolgirls going door-to-door selling bibles. Things go horribly (hilariously?) wrong when they knock at the proverbial den of iniquity and find a level of violence and madness seldom seen outside of extreme Japanese Manga. After being raped and left for dead, Catherine awakes with one thing on her mind: Vengeance! In classic 70’s “rape and revenge” style, one of our Catholic high school girls is destined to become an avenging angel. Amidst a backdrop of perversion, Russian roulette, necrophilia, and general mayhem, with grindhouse flair and a velvet soft porno soundtrack loop, this film delivers some of the darkest humor imaginable with a super-sized heap of sex and depravity. Not for the meek. If you like your humor inky black with splatterings of blood, hookers, bongs, thieves, nuns, shotguns, and sexy “Catholic high school girls in trouble,” you’ll love RUN! BITCH RUN!

11:45 PM Someone’s Knocking at The Door shown w/ The Facts in the Case of Mister Hollow

A horror/grindhouse throwback to the ‘80s, with a zombie twist. While pursuing the usual sex, drugs, and rock ‘n roll, a group of medical students develops an obsession with the medical files of Wilma and John Hopper, serial murderers. A psychic connection, possibly inspired by their psychotropic drug experimentation, releases the beast… Hallucinations and flashbacks create a visual landscape of terror as gruesome murders begin to multiply. With a keen sense of fun and incredibly well-crafted special effects, the demons and their lust-filled mania brutalize their victims and terrorize their small college. Horribly funny and graphically compelling, this film brings out the hellions and takes our intrepid drug adventurers to a world of disturbing gore. SOMEONE’S KNOCKING AT THE DOOR is a wicked cocktail from hell that will have you laughing maniacally as you dance with the devil.
