There seems to be a lot of pissed off people after the MTV Movie awards; Eminem did not seem happy ending up with Brüno’s junk in his face, and Ben Stiller was less than pleaed being called a monkey by Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. As for the horror genre there was nothing exciting unless you count Twilight winning five awards as an achievement, but I doubt most horror fans care.
