John Lithgow Joins Dexter for Season 4

How is this for terrifying? I think I saw John Lithgow (or someone who looked like him) in a sex scene once when I was a child! I’m not sure what movie it was, but it scarred me for life. He was also creepy in that Raising Cain movie and Dr. Giggles, and now that I think about it, he should star in more horror films. So it is probably a good thing that he is joining Showtime’s serial killer series Dexter.

Lithgow has signed up for 12-episodes of the fourth season and will play Walter Simmons, Miami’s latest serial killer. According to Reuters “Simmons is described as an unassuming, mild-mannered suburbanite who has been living a dual life as one of America’s most prolific serial killers, dubbed the ‘Trinity Killer’ because of his proclivity to kill in threes.”

The new season premieres on September 27.

I’ve only seen a couple of minutes of the show, but i did read that Debra is in a relationship with Frank in season 2. Are they still together in season 3 as I heard that Keith Carradine is going to be in season 4…
