I just got back from Horror Yearbook’s well deserved four day vacation to find out they released the official Twilight Saga: New Moon poster… I can’t win! Even though most Twilight fans have probably already seen this, those of you who that have not can check out the new one-sheet below…And please tell me this is not more fan art!
New Moon’s release date of November 20th is getting closer, but it still feels far away. So remember to bookmark our Twilight blog, for all your Twilight updates, and we will work through the withdrawal together.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon
After Bella recovers from the vampire attack that almost claimed her life, she looks to celebrate her birthday with Edward and his family. However, a minor accident during the festivities results in Bella’s blood being shed, a sight that proves too intense for the Cullens, who decide to leave the town of Forks, Washington for Bella and Edward’s sake. Initially heartbroken, Bella finds a form of comfort in reckless living, as well as an even-closer friendship with Jacob Black. Danger in different forms awaits.
To be honest, I bet a fan could have done better than this. I might be being a bit harsh because i’m a huge fan of the entire book series and so much of the film franchise. Stewart should have been looking up at Jacob’s face to highlight her dependance on him and innocence. She looks so strong here! She is so depressed in the book. Lautner looks so different – as if they’ve computerised his face. Pattinson looks good. This poster would have been most effective if stewart was not in it. It would then better highlight the division between Jacob Black and Edward Cullen that people will see in the upcoming movies.

I like it. I agree that Bella looks stronger than she should, but the way she hidesw behind Jacob shows her dependence on him. Also, I like that Edward is looking at her, but not vice versa. It shows that he is looking over her but she cannot see him. And I think that Edward and Jacob being back to back shows the division between the two. And I have to say that all the characters look so much better than in the first.
I agree with both of you! The back to back does simbolise the “fued” between them! However I do think she should be on the poster cuz you have to remeber that even though there’s 2 guys in this you need to remeber the whole story is in fact said by her since its HER STORY! Alothough I dont really like the actress( no offence to her but with any movie the shes in she seems pretty mellow as if she’d on something! :S …and whenever something serious happens notice how she blinks her eyes like a million times…anyways…) She does have a good physical resemblence of Bella! As does the rest of the cast, so far…I do think Taylor looks diffrent however it was the comprimise to him keeping his role, wich I’m glad he did since I dispise it when they change actors in sequels! Just wanna point out though that if u look at “bella’s” face she has sooooo much makeup on…Bella doesnt wear any makeup, in the books! I’m not saying she should’nt bewearing any but atleast put it on so it doesnt show that much(Hell even kristen says she only wears masquara! What happened with that?)
Anyways I just hope this one is better then the first one, I hated the fact that it wa hard to fallow compared to the book, I couldnt connect to the movie, it’s like it skiped from scene to scene with any connection between the 2! Most of all I hated that they didn’t really show the friendship build up between Bella and Alice!

I really like this poster! Its obvious that Jacob is protecting Bella from Edward. Though Edward isn’t around much, he is always looking out for Bella. So it seems like he is looking past Jacob and directly at Bella.
this poster is exelent!!! jacob and bella look amazing!! jacob has the perfection face expression.. and he looks… HOT! i love edwrds position.. but they made him look really ugly and not pale enough.. he’s sopposed to be the most beautiful one there.. wat happened? :S

I absolutly love the twilight saga. The movie in my opinion was amazing. I keep counting down the days for new moon. This poster is amazing. I love how edward and jacob are back to back to show the “fued”. I love how edward is looking at bella as in watching over her and she is looking into the distance has if she doesnt know what to do with her self. I dont think bella looks strong because she is behind jacob as in protection. i love the background because it shows forks and it reminds me of when edward says his goodbyes to bella in the beginning of the book. I know i am excited for this movie because its a big change from the love story to the heartbroken and fued with edward and jacob. Im glad they got a different director (not saying i have anything against hardwick) but it will just make things more interesting. New moon was the only book that i cried in so im hoping the movie has the same effect. 11.20.09
i think that, this poster signifies alot about the charachters the feuds and such.
the fact that kristen is hiding behind a very deffensive shows there relationship and how taylor stands between her and her love shows that he doesn’t want them together EVER,
another view is that kristen isn’t looking at either of them, instead she is looking out towards the camera, showing how she prefers not to look at the decision’s she will eventually have to make,she also has her hand on taylors arm almost showing reassurance that edward won’t harm them as if to say ” don’t be so gaurded”.
as well as taylor and robs stance, taylor is very stiff and has his hands in fists, this is one of the techniques jacob uses in the book to control his temper, where as rob’s stance says that he is still feeling sorry for leaving bella, it shows an unsure side of him. plus both of there heads are turned to each other neither of them looking at bella,
however i do like the overall look of this poster it shows alot of the hidden truths about this book, and how it takes alot of time for bella to feel secure enough not to cry all the time, but it also shows how jacob has become her protector keeping her away fom dangers such as her own emotions and decsisions as well as actual physical danger.

and it also shows how much these characters relationships with eachother have changed and how much they\’ve changed physically as well.
They all look like time has passed and they\’ve really changed.
The whole back to back thing was perfect and i think Bella holding Jacob\’s arm kind of symbolises who she\’s with now in the movie
It kind of gives the audience who hasnt read the books before a chance to see the changes that hav happened before the moive even comes out

i agree its egzacly what i thought im a humungas fan of the series and this is my fave in the series becuse i felt like bella and i had a huge hole i love jake but im TEAM EDWARD hehehe
