I never understood why websites publish TV spots. I always thought they were just shorter versions of the trailer, however, I’m not sure how Sam Raimi’s Drag Me To Hell is going to do this summer…So anything to help.

Raimi’s first horror movie after Spider-Man takes on Pixar’s Up on May 29, 2009. It obviously won’t win the box office for that weekend, but perhaps it can pull off a Strangers and hook moviegoers who are not in the mood for a “family friendly” film. I’m still predicting flop along with Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds. Hopefully I am wrong about both.

Synopsis:

A loan officer (Lohman) ordered to evict an old woman from her home finds herself the recipient of a supernatural curse, who turns her life into a living hell. Desperate, she turns to a seer to try and save her soul, while evil forces work to push her to a breaking point.
