True Blood season 2 premieres June 14 on HBO, and Alan Ball has promised fans that this year will contain some scenes that will make “your jaw drop.”

To the left is the new “optical illusion” teaser poster for the show. It looks like just blood splatter at first, but if you keep staring you will notice it is a lot more than that.

For those of you who missed season 1 you still have plenty of time to catch up on DVD.
