Sonny Fernandez is a strange phenomenon in the horror world, a film director who dropped micro-budget filmmaking to a whole new level with his collection of no budget films, Bleed, Cold Blooded, The Aborted and his latest The Last Battleground. The phenomenon part comes in because people seem to respond positively to his movies, when normally such films just end up becoming source material for shows like MST3K or our own Satan’s Screener. Instead of being ran out of the horror genre as a laughingstock, Sonny’s dedication has been winning over horror fans one message board at a time.

Below are several pictures from Fernandez’s newest project an untitled vampire film where Sonny promises no sparkling vampires.

“No Twilight crap around here…we’re going old school all the way. Bats, wolves, sunlight kills them, no reflections.”

This one follows a group of female vampires making dinner out of a small town, however, things get complicated when one starts to fall in love with her food. Liz Dockter stars as the vamp girl with effects by Daniella Marie and the dead guy is Aaron Swensen.
