It has been a long time since I have updated Horror Yearbook Gossip, but we finally got something worth posting — a clip of Billy Bob Thornton acting like an ass on some radio show. Thornton’s band is currently on tour (I think currently) with Willie Nelson and while doing an interview on CBC Thornton desides to pull a Joaquin Phoenix torturing the poor DJ. Billy Bob was pissed because the guy mentioned his acting career even though he was instructed not to do so, and instead of addressing it he makes the entire thirteen minute interview absolutely uncomfortable for everyone involved including his bandmates.

The reason I published the video is because when asked about the music that influenced him as a child, Thornton mentions Forrest J Ackerman and entering a model making contest that was featured in his magazine, Famous Monsters of Filmland. Even though he is being a major dick while doing so, it is nice to see a current Hollywood celebrity mention a very important person in horror history that just passed away.
