Brian Keene and Paul Finch are working together to bring, Dark Hallow to the big screen. The film adaptation written by Finch is being directed by Paul Campion and Shane Rangi is attached to star as Hylinus. We will definitely be keeping you updated because there are not enough good horror novels being turned into films these days.
Synopsis:
After two miscarriages, writer Adam Shay’s marriage is on the rocks. On a walk through local woods rumored to be haunted, Adam come across a strange sight: a statue of a half-man, half-goat creature, a satyr from ancient legends, which comes to life before his eyes. Soon all the women in town begin disappearing, summoned to the woods by the satyr’s hypnotic piping. When Adam gathers the menfolk to hunt down the satyr and retrieve the women, what they uncover is an unholy evil bent on protecting itself and spreading its seed.

I just LOVE Brian Keene’s works and I am so excited to see The Hallow on the big screen! YAY!
