Two of my favorite non-horror films are Lars Von Trier’s Dogville and Manderlay so I was excited to hear he was making a film titled, Antichrist, and now I’m even more excited to hear that it is an actual horror film.

Indie Wire published this picture from the film and had this to say:

“I chatted with an industry-insider who said he had read the script and seen a promo reel of the film. He describes it as a ‘horror film, which might not come as a surprise, of course. ‘It’s gonna be great,’ said the insider, ‘I’m told it is one of his best. He’s been working very hard on it.’”

Antichrist stars Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg, and is about a couple who while mourning the loss of their child in the woods, start encountering strange, and terrifying occurrences.
