Here is an interesting Twilight rumor floating around the interwebs, Drew Barrymore will not be directing the third film, Eclipse as reported by EW, however, the directing duties will be handed to the New Moon director’s brother, Paul Weitz.

Paul is known for directing the comedy American Pie and co-directing About a Boy with his brother Chris Weitz.

Summit has not commented on this and the sources are not as reliable as EW, so I’m filing this one under the wild rumor category. However, it would make sense if they are filming the two sequels so close together that they may want to keep it in the family.
