I’m open for the debate on remakes, I’ll even listen to both sides of the argument for Friday the 13th, but Last House on the Left (2009) looks like pure shit! The trailer was bad enough, and this two minute clip doesn’t help its case. This looks like some bad high school rendition of Last House, and not because of the young looking CW actors, but because of their awful and unconvincing performances. I’m not saying the original deserved any Oscars, but at least the actors were at least convincing looking scumbags. They should have cast Sheri Moon Zombie in this, she would have made a way better Sadie.
