My Editor pointed out to me that last night Ryan Seacrest (or maybe it was Paula) compared American Idol contestant Adam Lambert to Edward Cullen! While Adam has a very goth type feel I really don’t believe he compares to Twilight’s Robert Pattinson. So since I’m sure some Twilight fans are also American Idol fans, I figured we would have another face-off. This times it’s Adam Lambert vs Robert Pattinson. MTV.com reported that some Twilighters were not too happy with Kristen Stewart’s Dad’s comments on the red carpet at this year’s Oscars.
When asked why Stewart was not presenting with co-star Pattinson, John Stewart replied, “[She will present] when it’s a great movie, not just one that makes a lot of money.” Insinuating that him nor his daughter thinks Twilight is all that great. So what do you think? Is Stewart just a potty mouth, pot smoking, snob, or something is she alright. Lets us know in our comments section below.

I think this whole hoopla surrounding Kristen is rediculous. The girl has said 4000 times how much she loves the character of Bella and how proud she is of Twilight and then Billy Bush SUPPOSEDLY hears this quote, not from her, but from her father, and those other 4000 quotes are thrown out the window. I think, and they can deny it all they want, that what we have on our hands are a bunch of jealous little brats who have nothing to do but bash someone they don’t even know. You know, women wonder why it’s harder for us than for men. It’s because men support each other, while women backstab anyone that might rank above them. Rob has made some VERY OFFENSIVE comments, but the stupid fan girls don’t care because he’s hot. But then a family member of the female co-star makes an alledged comment and all of a sudden, people are burning her at the stake. I think the whole thing is stupid. Kristen is a great actress, and as evidenced by her close friendships with a number of the Twilight cast members, is clearly a nice, fun person. I, myself, have met her twice and she was adorable. Not only that, but I have to agree with her that Twilight events are psychotic and deafening. That’s not a put down, that’s a fact.
I dont quite understand K-Stew… She seems a little like ‘I’m the best’ kind of girl, but at the same time she has a low self-esteem. I dont get her… I think she is a little snob though.

it was randy who said adam reminded him of twilight’s robert pattinson, not edward cullen. yes, he plays edward cullen but he is nothing like edward cullen. it was ryan who said adam was being compared to edward cullen BUT randy specifically said robert pattinson being that he is so popular with the ladies.

kristen doesn’t look like a snob but she does seem to act like it on the movie, i don’t know much of the weed but EVERYONE does it so should it really matter if she does just because she’s an actor doesn’t make her any different from those who aren’t so back of she’s just being herself damn.!!! OH and that one girl Laura she has a point women are backstabers and guys do stand up for each other. i don’t think she hates the movie she looks like she enjoys herself shit i know i would when the guy who is playing your boyfriend is Robert Pattison and come he is way hotter than that one Adam Lamber guy. Oh yeah i HATE American Ideal it’s the worse show they ever made.
You girls are way too sensitive! I don’t even know who Robert Pattison is, I just love Adam and that’s all! I can careless who he is compared to. I respect those who love Robert Pattison, but stop these stupid act to trash each other’s idol. Adam is Adam, Robert is Robert, someone may see some similarities between them (like Randy), but they are two individuals anyway; each of them has his own fanbase, and we all have different favorites. I don’t care who you like, but please don’t even talk me into who is hotter and whoever don’t like AI, just don’t watch it and ignore it!

Adam Lambert shouldn’t take anyones place on Twilight. He should be an added character on the next Twilight. I think he’s got the look, and acts like he’s be a bonus to the show!
I think it doesn’t matter how is the best. Every one intideled to thier opinion. My is that Adams is a great singer but Robert is great at playing Edward Cullin.
I actually was watching American Idol while I was first reading Twilight last spring. I was halfway through the book by Tuesday night, and when I saw Adam’s performance that week (Mad World) I almost dropped the book because I realized that I had pictured Edward to look just like Adam while I was reading…not consciously, that’s just the mental image I got from how he was described. Intense look in the eyes, pale skin, mezmerizing to look at… I think if Twilight is ever made into a musical 9stranger things have happened!) Edward would be the ONLY choice to play Edward Cullen!
