Thanks to our member Ironik for picking up my slack while I was getting drunk for the Oscars. For more on Quarry’s career read Cinefantastique article on him, and to keep updated on all the celebrity deaths of 2009, visit our morbid but informative, 2009 Celebrity Death List.

hello, i just found your site on my gmail alerts listing for celebrity deaths. by coincidence i had just finished watching mr quarry in phibes rises again on hulu.com. have been a fan of vampire movies, since childhood. all the wonderful editions, with classic performances like bela lugosi, christopher lee, robert quarry, jack palance, frank langella, johnathan frid. the 60\\\’s were a time of transitions for me, from childhood to young adult on my way to viet nam. robert quarry was part of, the fantasy lore of my youth. long since gone, but not forgotten. i\\\’m glad your site celebrates the contributions of many who have had some influence in my life. and certainly helps me to keep a life perspective, by answering the question of, what became of so-in-so, who did this or that. their name and credits, stir the memories, and really help put many influences in a better perspective. thanks much, for having the thoughtfulness of providing this site to more than this \\"baby boomer\\"
