I told you to keep the Madonna/Twilight “news” in your rumor section because it is probably not true. Entertainment Weekly talked to a source close to the New Moon production who shot down the rumor that Madge would appear in the sequel.

However, because Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary, is a producer on the project, there is still a good chance she will work on some of the music for the film.

Meanwhile director Chris Weitz is taking his time casting New Moon and still no word on if Dakota Fanning or AnnaLynne McCord will appear in the film. Would they just throw us a bone already?

In other rumor news E! Online claims that AnnaLynne McCord was seen kissing the back of Kellan Lutz’s neck, but they still deny they’re a couple.

When confronted on the subject Lutz rambled, “You know, we’re really close and we’re all for each other’s careers. And we actually bounce a lot of career choices and the like off each other, so it’s nice to have someone in the industry who you can really, you know, be honest with versus your agent, versus your manager, the lawyer, who really want to do stuff for the money and for the wrong reasons a lot of times. So it’s nice to have friends who are smart and intelligent who know the business side of the business. That’s what AnnaLynne is. Therefore we’re friends.”
