Is Halloween too Scared to Take on Saw?

Dimension Films and Rob Zombie are once again playing it safe with Halloween 2, by releasing it on August 28, 2009 instead of on October 23, the day that Saw owns. Zombie’s 2007 Halloween took umber #1 at the box office on August 31, opening for around $27 million, and eventually made $78 million world wide. While it would be cool to see Halloween 2 in October, I understand Dimension not wanting to mess with a good thing, or not wanting to go head-to-head with the Saw franchise. Although it would be pretty interesting to see that box office battle.

In other Halloween news Zombie did confirm Tyler Mane would return as Michael Myers some time ago.
