Twilight Fans Defend Your Movie

You may or may not know my relationship with Twilight fans, lets just say it’s not a very good one. However, as a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, MySpace’s Fashion Wars, and Britney Spears, I thought I may be the only horror fan that would enjoy the movie. I didn’t. It was bland, boring, cloying and whatever other synonyms you can come up with, and most of the critics agree with me, but like Entertainment Weekly reviewer Owen Gleiberman points out, if you are a grownup, and not a fan of the book, you probably won’t like the film.

But I still refuse to believe that; the real fans were entertained by an hour of swooping camera shots, while Bella and Edward posed in various positions, two-minutes of action and two-hours of depressing music. So here is your chance to let the horror fans know why Twilight kicks ass. Are you really the fake, Clamato drinking, Hot Topic shopping losers South Park claims? Or a bunch of over obsessed, middle-aged fat chicks like I claimed a month ago? Let us know what you thought of the Twilight film.

So please join our message board and let us know why Twilight deserves better treatment (or not) (Here is the Twilight thread where your film is being trashed). Or if you do not want to join just E-mail me your comments at WIL@horroryearbook.com and I will publish them for you.

Also if someone can tell me if the vampires fight werewolves in the sequel, and how the storyline goes I would appreciate it.
