The NY Daily News says that Winona Ryder “has tried to stay out of the limelight following her 2002 felony conviction for stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from a Beverly Hills’ Saks Fifth Avenue.” However, she is in five upcoming films, including J.J. Abrams Star Trek, how is that staying “out of the limelight?” Not to mention she forced British Airways into a emergency landing when she suffered a “mystery illness” while flying from LAX. Not very low-key if you ask me.

Anyway the Beetle Juice star is fine. Her publicist Mara Buxbaum told the Associated Press, “[Winona's] fine now,” (see?) but she didn’t reveal what the mystery illness was. I, for one am glad she is alive and well, because now maybe she will be able to reprise her role in Aliens vs Predator like Lance Henriksen did. Okay I have no idea if that even makee sense…
