You may remember that we reported that Swamp Thing star Heather Locklear was arrested for suspicion of a DUI. You may also remember that our sista site 2Snaps.tv reported that she was setup by a “disgruntled Us Weekly employee”. Well now The L.A. Times reports that she “was charged today with misdemeanor driving under the influence of legally prescribed drugs, stemming from her arrest two months ago in Santa Barbara County.”

Santa Barbara County Deputy Dist. Atty. Lee Carter said: “There was no alcohol and no illegal narcotics in her system, only prescription medications.”

Locklear brought me countless joy as Amanda on Melrose Place and starred in Jim Wynorski’s 1989 The Return of Swamp Thing, so I hope she gets off easy because she deserves it.
