MGM will release a brand new special edition dvd of Wes Craven’s LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT on February 24th, 2009. Shock Till You Drop got the exclusive first word on the disc’s features, which are listed below:

This is fantastic news! MGM’s prior dvd release of LAST HOUSE was excellent, but commentary from Krug & Co. makes this a must have! The only downside is the fact that the original commentary track with Wes Craven & Sean Cunningham isn’t listed as a bonus feature. Hardcore fans might want to hang on to the original dvd if that commentary track doesn’t get ported to the new disc.
