While you wait to see Midnight Meat Train on DVD here is some casting news for Anthony DiBlasi’s upcoming adaptation of Clive Barker’s Dread; Jackson Rathbone who plays Jasper Hale in the new Twilight film has just secured a leading role in the film.

Dread, which is the story of Quaid, a philosophy student who comes up with a series of experiments to see how others deal with images that horrify them. Plagued by dreams of an axe-murdering clown his entire life, Quaid’s sick experiments on his captured victims soon reveal some very twisted truths about his own mind.

This is the third movie in the Books of Blood films.
