After nearly being rundown by a gang known as The Scars, Brenda (Linda Blair!) and friends trash the leader’s car. Gang leader, Jake, exacts his revenge by getting his cohorts to gang rape Brenda’s mute and deaf sister, Heather (in a gloriously nuanced role by Linnea Quigley). Armed with a crossbow and a bad attitude, a black leather clad Linda Blair sets out to avenge her sister while boldly blazing a bloody, Bronson-inspired trail through Los Angeles.
This fucking masterpiece of 80′s exploitation finally gets the two-disc special edition treatment that it so richly deserves. Two discs, three commentaries and five interviews. What more can you ask for?

MOTHER OF TEARS is the final installment of Dario Argneto’s legendary “Three Mothers” trilogy.
