Princess Leia is in negotiations to play the house mother in the House on Sorority Row remake. If the deal is finalized she will join; Rumer Willis (Who Dlisted.com affectionally calls Tater Head) Julian Morris, Leah Pipes, Margo Harshman and Briana Evigan. The movie that has been retitled Sorority Row is being directed by Stewart Hendler. I also believe Jamie Chung and Audrina Patridge from The Hills are attached.

I know some horror fans get pissed when current teen (or teen like) “actors” are attached to newer horror films, which honestly always confused me. Especially when it comes to slasher films. Why wouldn’t they cast popular teen “stars” for roles in films, that are about teens getting killed? Who else would you have them cast? Bruce Campbell or go back in time and get a young Linnea Quigley? I know the biggest scare is that this will be a PG-13 film geared towards tweens and teens, but get over it because we can’t stop it.

Synopsis:

It’s graduation time, and a group of sorority sisters are ready to celebrate in style. However, when their house mother interferes and demands the girls to leave the house early, the girls make her the object of a prank – which results in her accidental death.
