We all know (or should) Traci Lords’s story.. those who were alive in the 80’s at least. She got into porn at age 14 by claiming she was 18. When she got busted she blamed it on every single person in the porn industry and said she’d been too drugged up to know what was going on. I should add that as far as I know she has never done anal on film.. double-vaginal, yes.. but anal, no. Then when she turned 18 she tried to get back into porn but considering all the bullshit she pulled on everyone, those bridges were far past burned. She did do one, in France I think, Called “Traci, I Love You” but she would never be as big a porn star as she was when she was younger. So she tried her hand in the horror biz.. that didn’t fly. The only good film she’s really done was John Water’s Crybaby. I ran into her at a club in NYC long ago, she was trippin on something, she didn’t even seem to mind I probably smelled like piss and had just puked up a bottle of Jaegermeister and kissed me.. it was very awkward and she was creepy, I guess I should be thankful i didn’t get AIDs.. or rather upset that I didn’t.

Anyway though after years of cameos on television shows her career has returned to horror and sci-fi flicks. Well that’s not entirely true, but those are the only type of movies I watch and thus all I see her in. She could win a Nobel Prize for discovering the cure for Cancer, a Pulitzer for.. something, single-handed win a war, etc and people will still snicker at her name, remembering her only as that scandalous 14 yr old porn star from the 80’s.
