Abominable was a pleasant surprise from 2006. If you didn’t see it or saw it on the Sci-Fi channel censored, you should hurry and watch it now, because they are talking sequel. Director Ryan Schifrin announced (via Comb’s Official Website) that Jeffrey Combs’ character will be coming back in Abominable 2:
“Well, Buddy will definitely have survived being bitten and have the scars to prove it. We’re still keeping the plot under wraps, but there is a military component, which Larry Hama really did a stellar job with, and the ending of the last one clearly sets up that there’s more than one of the furry critters out there. Think ALIENS and PREDATOR, but with Buddy and Preston thrown into the mix….”
The first Abominable starred Combs, Tiffany Shepis, and was written by Ryan Schifrin. The sequel is being written by Larry Hama.
