I was just preparing to finish off my bottle of whiskey and write my Fangoria Weekend of Horrors 2008 L.A. report (where I was banned by the people who work for Creation Entertainment) when this little anonymous tip was dropped on my lap. It seems Creative Group Inc., who owns Starlog and Fangoria filed under Chapter 11 on March 21. Bloomberg.com reports:

“Creative Group Inc. filed to reorganize under Chapter 11 in New York on March 21, saying it owes $16.6 million on a secured bank loan and $15 million on subordinated notes. Creative said it intends to use Chapter 11 to restructure the debt.”

This seems to be old news since it was reported on April 2nd, 2008, but what is not old news is that Creation Entertainment is run by a bunch of fucking bitchy cunts and has ruined the horror convention experience. More on that in my upcoming report.
