J.J. Abrams is a marketing genius I will give him that, however I am going to take the not-so-popular road and say; “I did not like Cloverfield.” I just kept thinking did people really fall for a Blair Witch all over again?
It doesn’t matter if I liked it or not because the popular vote is that it was a entertaining movie, so that should mean a sequel will make money again. So my other question is; “Do we really need another year long viral marketing campaign for the sequel?” Well we are getting one anyway. So strap yourselves in for months of rumors, viral videos, and grainy pictures, because Cloverfield is here to stay.
