It is time to pay the bills, my 4 crack-babies need their fix, so here is your daily dose of crap remake news. Variety reports that Amanda Righetti (Return to House on Haunted Hill) is in talks to play the female lead in Michael Bay’s Friday the 13th remake.

Jared Padalecki is set to play one of the teens and Derek Mears (The Hills Have Eyes II & the soap opera Passions) has been announced as Jason Voorhees.

IMDB.com also lists that Odette Yustman (Cloverfield and Transformers) will appear in the film, she is also listed to play Casey Beldon in David S. Goyer’s (who wrote Demonic Toys) 2009 flick Unborn. Try and link that back to Kevin Bacon!
