This is a weird bit of news, you may remember that their was rumor floating around that Rob Zombie was going to remake the 1984 film C.H.U.D…. that rumor turned out to be untrue. Now Horror Yearbook and a couple of other sites have received casting notes for a film called Urban Decay, that if you look closely mentions the C.H.U.D.s in the script. See the pages below. Who knows this could be an April Fool’s Day joke someone played on the sites, I know our Mr. T vs Dracula story may be.

Synopsis: A rash of bizarre murders in New York City seems to point to a group of grotesquely deformed vagrants living in the sewers. A courageous policeman, a photo journalist and his girlfriend, and a nutty bum, who seems to know a lot about the creatures, band together to try and determine what the creatures are and how to stop them.

C.H.U.D. stands for Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers
