Joss Whedon loves lesbians! We all love lesbians, lesbians love lesbians, so why shouldn’t Buffy Summers find out what all the fuss is about? In the Buffy Season 8 comic I was afraid Buffy was going to bang Xander, which would have been gross because it would have been like her banging her brother, but I should have known better. If you have been following the Buffy comic then you know that the character Satsu developed a crush on our slayer and in the newest issue Buffy decides to switch sides and I’m not talking the evil side.

The New York Times published a picture of Buffy and Satsu naked in bed together where Buffy is seen saying; “Wow, that was … that was … Wow,” Satsu replies; “‘That was wow’ pretty much covers it.”

Whedon told the Times: “We had already established that there was this character, Satsu, was in love with Buffy and that Buffy was kind of lonesome. [We decided] it would be fun if they just went ahead and did it, rather than have it be a ‘will they won’t they’ situation.”

So will Buffy stick with women or was this just a one night stand? I guess we will have to wait and find out, but one thing I do know is that Buffy Season 8 just got a little more interesting.
