China is cleaning up their act for the Beijing Olympics already banning “vulgar” video and audio content, plus slapping strict restrictions on the Internet. Now they want to get rid of ghosts, monsters and demons…oh my!
Reuters reports: “Producers have around three weeks to look through their tapes for ‘horror’ and report it to authorities. Offending content included wronged spirits and violent ghosts, monsters, demons, and other inhuman portrayals, strange and supernatural storytelling for the sole purpose of seeking terror and horror.”
Now if we can only get America to pass a ban on shitty Japanese remakes we will be alright!
