Instead Wes is working on 25/8 another thriller about a serial killer who returns 15 years to kill seven children who were born on the night of his supposed death.

Craven said: “It’s more a thriller than slasher film, and revolves around a young kid with a very dark past involving his family and his father.”

Well maybe the first movie will be just a thriller but if the killer dies in the end, perhaps he can come back like a Freddy type killer in the direct to DVD sequel. This is also the first original script Craven has written since 1994.
