Robert Englund is getting old and Christopher Lee is almost dead, so why not make a movie together? Englund (61-years-old) has decided to stop playing with make-up supposedly passing on the chance to revive Freddy Krueger in Michael Bay’s remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street. It seems his ass prefers the director chair (perhaps that is where his hemorrhoid pillow is).
Englund is set to direct the new “dark gothic fantasy” The Vij. No not The Vaj, but I do think Englund may have vagina on the mind since the last film he directed was called Killer Pad. Horror-Movies.ca reports that the 86-year-old Christopher Lee is set to star in the film based on a Russian novel by Nikolaj Gogol. Shooting begins in April in the Lazio region of Italy.
If you prefer Robert Englund the actor to the director you can catch him in the upcoming 2001 Maniacs: Beverly Hellbillys where he reprises his role as Mayor George W. Buckmanand.
