By now everyone reading this should know what a grindhouse movie theater is and what kind of movies played there. You also probably already know that since Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez’s double feature Grindhouse, DVD companies have clamored to cash in on the newest genre buzzword. Which is ironic since Grindhouse was such a bust at the box office. So now we have companies dragging out long lost exploitation movies and slapping them together with other long lost exploitation movies and releasing them as “Grindhouse Double Features”. We also have companies scooping together the trailers that played in the theaters and releasing them as compilations.

This is not a bad thing since people like me who weren’t around during that time, just didn’t want to stick to the floor, get stabbed or see the fella in the raincoat next to you yanking his crank, get a chance to see these badass movies and trailers. I say “badass” movies but in all actuality some of the trailers are way better than the movies.
