Sam Raimi is making a return to the genre that started his career, directing a new film called Drag me to Hell based off a script him and his brother wrote way back in the early 1990s.
Hell is described as a “morality tale about the unwitting recipient of a supernatural curse.” Co-founder of Raimi’s horror house Ghost House Rob Tapert had this to say:
“Sam calls it a ’spook-a-blast’, a wild ride with all the thrills and chills that ‘Evil Dead’ delivered without relying on the excessive violence of that film.”
