Paura Productions wil be releasing Paura: Lucio Fulci Remembered Vol. 1 on February 26th, 2008. You can pre-order the disc from their official website here on January 6th, 2008.
“Producer Mike Baronas conceptualized the idea and hopes the DVD sheds some light on the often misunderstood Fulci through the eyes of those he engaged with throughout his long and diverse moviemaking career. Baronas managed to interview over 88 people for the DVD including Fabrizio De Angelis, Florinda Bolkan, Catriona MacColl, Sergio Salvati, Paolo Malco, and Giannetto De Rossi. Besides those involved directly with his work Baronas also managed to get interviews with some of Fulci’s contemporaries: Ruggero Deodato, Umberto Lenzi, Lamberto Bava, Enzo Castellari, Luigi Cozzi, Michele Soavi, etc.”
They will also be releasing an extremely limited collector’s autographed edition with bonus promo soundtrack CD.
The DVD retails for $20.
