The WHITEOUT poster was released a while back and now we have been graced with the beautiful Kate Beckinsale simply standing around in a couple of set stills.

The poster looks ridiculous. It almost looks like an advertisement for a snowboard company with Kate Beckinsale’s face superimposed on a man’s body. Last time I saw promotional work this great was for CLIFFHANGER.

Synopsis:

U.S. Marshal Carrie Stetko (Beckinsale) tracks a killer in Antarctica, as the sun is about to set for six months.

The movie is directed by Dominic Sena, who seemed like he was on the road to stardom with KALIFORNIA. But he then threw everything away to make GONE IN SIXTY SECONDS for a sweaty wad of cash and to make SWORDFISH to see Halle Berry’s titties.

So what does this all mean? Well, I assume the photo of Kate pointlessly using her flashlight for no apparent reason sums it up.
