Here is a video of the REAL monster from Cloverfield. It is just a glimpse, but at least you can get an idea of what the monster will be like. It also gives me hope that this may actually be a decent, American version of the giant monster movie. We have not had one in a long time, and the last two monster movies I’ve seen were Godzilla: Final Wars and The Host. It is time for a new one…Keep your fingers crossed.

Once again J. J. Abrams’ Cloverfield hits theaters January 18, 2008.
