Magnet Releasing has released the trailer for Playback starring Christian Slater. It looks like a Ring type flick involving dodgy video tapes. You can watch the trailer here.

Synopsis

While digging into their town’s infamous past, a group of high school students unwittingly unlock an even darker secret. Now, an evil spirit has been awakened and will stop at nothing to find his true heir.

Playback will be in theaters on March 9, 2012.
