Rob Zombie talked to Billboard.com about his many upcoming projects he is working on, including the long-delayed White Zombie box set, a DVD companion to his new “Zombie Live” album, and a possible C.H.U.D. remake. They did not bother to confirm if C.H.U.D. would be his next film project or not, but those slick cats at Dread Central got Zombie on the phone “and he confirmed he WILL be helming the C.H.U.D. remake!”

If you remember C.H.U.D. is the 1984 movie about “Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers” that eat bums living in the sewers.

It is also pretty strange that Zombie is gearing up to do a second remake already, and especially for a film of this caliber. Lynyrd Skynyrd and C.H.U.Ds just don’t seem like a good match.
